Steven W. Wood, MSc, DABFET, CFC, CHS-IV

Steven W. Wood began working for the federal government in 1986 as a member of the US Army. Since retiring from active duty Wood has continued working in Homeland Security while remaining overseas. Wood holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology and is working on his Doctorate at the University of Mannheim in Germany.

In the Army, Steven was trained in Land Combat Missile System Maintenance and worked in all areas of Missile Maintenance Operations. He also received specialized training in Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defense and was involved in several real-world operations.

Steven continues to support the Homeland Security mission by also performing research into ways to best use computing technology to support Military, Police and Intelligence activities.
